Bakugan Questions

i understand most of the other rules, but i dont understand how you draw cards at the beginning of the match.it says you can have 2 gate cards and one ability card. but do you draw your 3 cards at random from a shuffled deck? how big can a bakugan deck be. and how do you choose your 3 cards, it also says in the rules that you can have more than 3 cards in a game but each player must start with the same ammount which is 3, what does this mean. someone help me.

    each person must have an equal number of cards otherwise if u have 65 cards and ur friend has 24 cards the max number of cards that can b used is 24 u can have 1 ability card and an equal number of gate cards

    u put down a card that gos with your strategy.one side has to be
    touching another side completely, and u don’t shuffle. u have to
    have 3 different types of cards.(character,command,normal and ability)
