My 6 year old son came home asking for “Backer-Guns” and I had no clue what he was talking about. Once we figured out what they were, I still didn’t understand the planets and story, so we purchased this book and the first DVD. Both have been thoroughly enjoyed, and I read the book together with my son and 4 year old daughter. The book has sections on the human characters, planets of Vestroia, Bakugan warrior types, and “best battles” from the show. The pages showing the different warrior types were very helpful to me for identifying the Bakugan in our collection. The “best battles” are nice because they are “story-like” to read together, and put the rest in context. We saved several dollars by buying it used.
